Premium Kintyre Dalintober Hat (Large) - ONLY pattern, tag and wool included

A pattern by A Fyne Yarn which has been inspired by the Dalintober Gansey, an example of which is housed in Campbeltown Museum. Ganseys were fisherman's jumpers knit with 5 ply worsted spun wool in a tight gauge to keep the wind and rain out. This is a nod to that heritage and the rib throughout the brim and body of the hat means that the sizes will fit a wide range of head sizes. This large hat would fit most men and those with a larger than average head

Along with the pattern you will receive a Kintyre Tag and 150g Aran Weight Blue Faced Leicester (BFL) and due to the natural process used to clean and process the wool at the natural fibre company, the wool still contains some lanolin which makes it so lovely to knit with. It is luxurious and will last you many, many winters if cared for with Love. Without the rest of the 'kit items' it makes this set more affordable.
