The Kintyre Yarn Ethos

Kintyre Yarn is a small family-run business in Kintyre headed up by ‘Nana’ Janice, dedicated to making 100% Scottish wool from local sheep fleeces. Kintyre Yarn offers both natural and plant-dyed wool, as well as knitting kits and supplies for spinners. The business aims to support local farmers to get their fleeces processed and to employ local people as it grows. All products in this shop are made in Kintyre (as there is currently no Mill yet in Kintyre, some of the fleeces are processed into wool by the Natural Fibre Company. Overseas shipping isn’t available yet, although may be considered in the future if there is demand.
